Do you like attention to detail, can work in an accounting software solution on a transactional level? Do you have an entrepreneurial soul and want to directly contribute to the ongoing financial health of our organization? Are you adept at budgeting, analysis, stragetic planning and fundraising? We may have a spot for you.
The Treasurer will report to the MWBA* Board of Directors, and shall keep and maintain accurate records of accounts of the properties and business transactions of MWBA, including accounts of its assets, liabilities, receipts, disbursements, gains, losses, capital, retained earnings, and other matters customarily included in financial statements. He/she will have a fundamental understanding of GAAP. The Treasurer will work with the President to reconcile monthly statements and generate financial reports to be distributed at the monthly board meetings. The Treasurer will play an integral part in creating and implementing a financial plan.
The Treasurer will sit on the Finance/Fundraising Committee.
The projected minimum volunteer time commitment for the Treasurer position is approx 10 hours a month.
*MWBA is comprised of all volunteers who have a passion for conservation and trail work.
