Pancake Breakfast GRAND Prize!

MWBA is continuing the tradition with the Pancake Breakfast back up at Henninger Flats. 11/6/11 at 8:30am. The founders of the MWBA will be serving pancakes and sausage until 11:30. We have a live band and will be showing a documentary of MWBA building the Ken Burton trail. Tickets are $6 and that includes 1 raffle ticket. Extra tickets for $1 each. There is also a VIP package for $40 that includes valet parking, a tune up, and a special head-of-the-line for pancakes. Only a few vendors, but Foes, Niner, and Pivot will return, as well as Altadena Search and Rescue.
All your local bike shops have provided a lot of swag. Pasadena Cyclery, Steve’s Altadena, INCYCLE, Velo, Open Road, Jones II San Marino, Helen’s Arcadia, Stan’s Monrovia and Temple City Bike Shop. They have donated about 100 items.
The GRAND Prize, donated by Pasadena Cyclery, is a Trek Sawyer. This prize represents the time when MWBA started riding trails and doing trail work. Follow the link to read more about it.

  1. Some notes — We’re on, rain or shine but it looks like rain won’t restart until Sunday afternoon so we’ll see you all.
There is no parking allowed on part of Pinecrest Drive on weekends. The restricted area is clearly marked, and you can park on the other streets
in the area. Bikes are not allowed on the trail/road from the Eaton Canyon Nature Center to the Mount Wilson Toll Road. You would have to ride up Altadena Drive. For this reason, and to be a good neighbor to the many people using Eaton Canyon, we do not recommend using their parking lot.
